About MIEP: six years of overtime
A documentary about my aunt-in-law Miep. Six years ago, she was told that she only had 3 months left to live. She refused chemotherapy and decided to get the most out of it. Her motto was “The meaning of life is meaning to live”. Whatever the cause: her outlook on life, her rose wine treatment, or her sense of humor; she lived another six years. I filmed her last days. Unprepared; suddenly, it all went fast. Her contemplations, her party, and farewell. She had an inspiring way of thinking about life and death, and she was one of the most optimistic people that I know.
